God Rocks!

Jackson and I drove out to the daffodil gardens Saturday. He wasn't a cooperative photo subject, but we had a great time. While driving through four miles of trails, we saw tons of flowers, trees, a pond, streams with waterfalls and turtles. Jackson was hanging out the car window looking around when he told me "God rocks. When I grow up I'm gonna rock too". He's so true!

Whatever happened to good ol Boones Farm and Marlboros?

I met a junior high teacher this week. She told me that the kids at her school are crushing up Mucinex (yes- the cough suppressant) and smoking it. I was assured that the kids are not able to get high from this, but it disturbed me. To me this goes beyond normal curiousity and experimentation. Makes me wonder what the kids are looking for that they aren't getting. Parents- talk to your kids!

Here Goes Nothing...

I am an avid blog reader. There are several I read daily (mostly people I don't know personally). My friend April encouraged me to start this blog. She's an awesome writer and I'm adding her to my "daily blog reading" so she better start posting more!

Our blog is going to be experimental. I will continue if I get good feedback. I'm not promising any really deep thoughts or inspiration, but you'll be able to keep up with what's going on in the Reneau family. What more can you ask for? (I know the pictures of Jackson will be a big draw, too. I took this one this weekend. He loves his new friend, Sniffy and takes him everywhere now).
