Whatever happened to good ol Boones Farm and Marlboros?
I met a junior high teacher this week. She told me that the kids at her school are crushing up Mucinex (yes- the cough suppressant) and smoking it. I was assured that the kids are not able to get high from this, but it disturbed me. To me this goes beyond normal curiousity and experimentation. Makes me wonder what the kids are looking for that they aren't getting. Parents- talk to your kids!

the internet happened! we weren't able to find all this knowledge about smoking this and inhaling that. teenagers these days don't know how to have a good time. there parents keep their "glory days" such a secret and never talk to their kids about how you can have fun and still be cool. daily, Jace asks me how it was back then and how he loves listening to my "old school" songs. yet, he still maintains to be a great christian son i am very proud of him. whatever happened to racing, bonfires in the field, just kissing and not having to worry about girls starting in the 5th grade!! our kids know so much more and have so much more than we did. growing up is a thing of the past!! their grown by the time they reach 13!!
the best thing to do is keep praying for our kids and for our country and the beleives it was based on!! by the way, not a big blogger, but a good way to keep in touch. hope you guys are doing well! later--todd
